INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A 2-year-old biofuel company lured here with $2.5 million in state money plus several years of county incentives so far has exceeded employment requirements and cut two Treasure Coast counties’ yard waste disposal costs. INEOS Bio, a United Kingdom-based company, converts vegetation it collects from clients, including Martin and Indian River counties’ landfills, into vehicle fuel that produces fewer greenhouse emissions than gasoline. The company was aided in building its $130 million plant with a $2.5 million grant from the state’s Energy and Climate Commission and a $50 million U.S. Department of Energy matching grant INEOS.
