INDIAN SENIOR WOMEN TEAM – 2013 RESULTS The Indian Senior Women Volleyball Team bt. Uzbekistan 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-23) in the Asian Zonal Qualification Tournament held at Thailand (26th June 2013) and qualified for the Asian Zonal Qualification Final Round for 2014 World Championship. Minimol performed very well as universal and a powerful attacks by sowmya. Terin distributed very well for all the attackers. Poornima and Tiji Raju were excellent in blocking. Overall the team performance was fantastic. The Head Coach Mrs. Meena Mahalingam says, "I am happy for this good result and I am sure that the team will achieve in the final round and qualify for the World championship" The Asian Zonal Qualification Final Round will be held in Japan from 4th to 8th September 2013. The following players / officials represent Indian Senior Women Volleyball Team at the Asian Zonal Qualification Tournament for 2014 World Championship to be held in Thailand on 26th June 2013. India will be playing against Uzbekistan on 26th June 2013.
