INEC urges politicians to observe rules of electoral process The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Sokoto State has called on politicians to abide by the rules and regulations of the electoral process to achieve hitch-free elections in 2015. The appeal is contained in a statement signed by Muhammad Musa, Head of Voter Education and Publicity, on Thursday in Sokoto. It further noted that free and fair election was a collective responsibility of all Nigerians. ” As such, each and every stakeholder must contribute his or her own quota in order to achieve the desired objective,” the statement said It announced the release of the time-table for the 2015 general elections since on Oct. 1.
