[INFORMATION] [IMPORTANCE : HIGH] Sub: Country Focused Training Course in Energy Conservation Techniques for India from 15th January to 22nd February, 2014 at Japan for Certified Energy Managers or Energy Auditors - The application completed in all respects should reach the above addressnot later than 26th September, 2013. Request for nomination of Certified Energy Managers and Energy Auditors who are working in Designated Consumer Plants (covered under PAT Scheme) of the Aluminium, Chlor-Alkali, Textile, Pulp & Paper, Iron & Steel, Fertilizer and Cement Sector; Certified Energy Managers and Energy Auditors from State Designated Agencies and also the Accredited Energy Auditors (AEAs) of Bureau of Energy Efficiency. NOTE: Last date for receipt of hard copy of the application is 26th September, 2013 The Government of Japan is offering the aforementioned training for BEE certified energy managers and energy auditors through Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India. The CEO/CMD/ Plant Head of Designated Consumer plants are requested to nominate certified Energy Manager (CEM)/ Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) working in their plants/ Organizations. This offer is open to CEA/CEM working in Designated Consumer Plants (covered under PAT Scheme) in the Aluminium, Chlor-Alkali, Textile, Pulp & Paper, Iron & Steel, Fertilizer and Cement Sector; Certified Energy Managers and Energy Auditors from State Designated Agencies and also the Accredited Energy Auditors of Bureau of Energy efficiency. The CEM and CEA from Thermal Power Stations (TPS) are not eligible to participate in this programme, as two exclusive programmes have already been organised by Japan for TPS in the current year. The criterion to be followed for the selection process of the certified energy manager/certified energy auditor is attached as Annexure-A. Selection will be done based on marks obtained in first 3 papers of National Certification Examination. Three slots are being kept reserved for CEA and CEM from State Designated Agencies and selection will be done separately for SDA based on marks obtained in first 3 papers of National Certification Examination. In case of any vacancy left in the SDA slot, the same will be shifted to Regular Category. The nominated applicant must provide a valid e-mail id and working mobile no. in the application form. Undertakings that they have not taking any training in Japan under BEE programme in past and also submit the details of visit taken abroad in the last six months. All the communication from BEE side to the applicants will be sent through email and phone. The Bureau will not be responsible for any delay/non-receipt of information due to wrong email id or mobile number. The Government of Japan would provide a round trip air ticket, accommodation allowance, living allowance etc. as given in the JICA document attached as Annexure -B. The application format is attached as Annexure –C and also can be downloaded from energymanagertraining and bee-india.nic.in. The list of documents required to be submitted along with the duly filled in application form is mentioned in Annexure-D.
