INLD to launch 3-day agitation in Haryana CHANDIGARH: Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has decided to launch a three-day state-wide agitation in Haryana, demanding judicial probe into the cash-for-CLU scam. INLD had released video grabs of ruling Congress legislators and their kin accepting bribes for clearing change of land use licences in the state. However, Congress on Sunday put up a brave front saying the CDs will not wash the sins of INLD and its leaders. Haryana Congress spokesperson and general secretary Ran Singh Maan termed the CD row as an INLD move to divert attention of masses from their leaders. "INLD leaders O P Chautala and his son are already facing CBI probe into cases related to disproportionate assets. The CD scam is a bid by INLD to divert attention from this,' Maan said. Everyone knows that among all the politicians in the state, the Chautala family has the biggest land pool and owns huge property, he added. INLD MLA from Kalka Pradeep Chaudhary said the party would stage district-level agitation for three days from Monday. If the government claims that these are doctored CDs, then what stops them from announcing a judicial probe. Either they should order a probe or dismiss the legislators involved in the videos,' he said. The INLD on Friday and Saturday had released video grabs of a sting operation wherein Congress legislators were shown negotiating bribe for issuing CLUs.
