INSIDE GOMBE POLITICS: YAN SAMA DA FADI ZASU YI WATA DABARA! Now that the days of elections are coming closer, some individuals that are opportune to be closer to the Man of the Moment, Talban Gombe are busy strategizing to take control of leadership in the campaign organization. These individuals may succeed in bringing the few people that will attend their meetings but, I doubt if they will convince the electorates that the people of Gombe South are not important or irrelevant in the politics of Gombe. They are making the mistake by way of portraying themselves as true friends of the political lead actor, forgetting that it is glaring to all that they care not on the plight of the common man. Most of them that put in years of service in office as Commissioners, all that matters to them is to continue to gain political relevance even if they will continue to misguide their boss. These are same people that misguided the Governor in wasting the billions of Naira known as SURE P FUNDS in the State. They used all sort of tricks in the name of politics to cajole the Governor to release some funds to their Ministries in the name of Projects Executions across the Political Wards, part of those projects are the rehabilitation of tap waters in some of the wards, over a N100 Million allotted to each LGA yet, there are no running taps even in my own LGA, Balanga. We will continue to remind Talban Gombe to desist from old political manner of campaigns. No group of friends (partners in crime) should come to you with a name as Amalgamated Campaign Body (not their real name) to demand permission to source for funds from taxpayers money. They can never deliver you better than those existing groups. Warn them not to convert Civil Service structures into political platforms, they should not in anyway play trick on you by covering the money they misappropriate in their offices in the name of official contribution to your campaign. No serving Commissioner should be allowed to head your campaign organization. MY CANDID ADVICE, EMPOWER THE MEDIA IN YOUR STATE, MOTIVATE ALL THE STAFF IN RADIO, TELEVISION, PRINT MEDIA, LET THEM WORK DAY AND NIGHT TO SHOWCASE ALL YOU HAVE DONE SO FAR, AND WORK WITH SAME POLITICAL STRUCTURES THAT WERE THERE WITH YOU AND LEAVE THE REST TO GOD!
