INSPECTOR General of Police Stella Libongani says the K50,000 - TopicsExpress

INSPECTOR General of Police Stella Libongani says the K50,000 bounty set aside last year as a cash reward to individuals providing information to help the police to recapture the slain Mailoni brothers is still available. Speaking to journalists on Friday in Kabwe, Ms Libongani said the police command is ready to pay the K50,000 to any person who will make an “authentic claim” of providing useful information to the Zambia Army crack squad, leading to the killing of the Mailoni brothers. Ms. Libongani said since the serial killers were slain in the Luano Valley, no one has come forward to claim the K50,000 bounty. And the Zambia Army is happy to have partnered with other security wings in hunting down the Mailoni brothers who were eventually killed in June, bringing their blood-thirsty reign of terror to an end. Zambia Army commander Lietenant-General Paul Mihova said on Friday during the commissioning parade at Kohima Barracks that the Zambia Army’s participation in the search for the Mailoni brothers was part of its role of maintaining peace and security in the country.
