We all have our own gentiles. Those people in our lives who mock the vision God has given us. The unbelievers and doubters, who call our dreams castles in the air. I have them and I am sure you do too. They stir up a fear in us. The fear of what we have professed before people not coming to pass. It is a fear of shame! What if it does not happen? God told Abram to change his name to Abraham which means a Father of many nations and Sarai his wifes name to Sarah even though they had no children. I try to imagine the laughter of mockery that followed them as they announced their new names! You know how that story ended right? Yes! In fact Sarah, called their baby Isaac, which meant laughter! She said those who have laughed at me are now laughing with me! halleluia! The same will be true in your case because God loves you dearly. Dont be afraid of their faces he told Jeremiah and he is saying it to you as well! Look at what others have had to believe: Mary had to believe that a virgin shall be with child! Gideon had to believe that 300 men will route the army of a whole nation! Moses had to believe that a whole nation can cross a sea and walk on dry ground! What is he asking you to believe? Confront the fear of gentile unbelievers and go for it. He came through for Mary, Moses, Gideon, he will come through for you! Youve won!
