So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. BUT SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AS WELL. THE PERSON WITH LITTLE FAITH IS WORRIED ABOUT THEIR OWN WELFARE! Seeking Gods kingdom is simply the corresponding action to faith in God. When you truly believe what Gods word says about you, you would take your eyes off yourself, stop worrying about your welfare and put your focus on others to help them. If you believe that... God has ALREADY given us all things that pertain to life and Godliness 2Peter 1:3 We are ALREADY blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:3 If you truly believed these things, you would consequently find your thoughts focused on touching the lives of others around you, because you are confident that you are well taken care off. God wants you to receive all that Jesus has obtained for you at the cross. However, they are received on the platform of faith. Your faith is revealed in your being so confident of Gods loving care for you, that you forget about yourself and pursue the welfare of others. Meditate on the finished work of Jesus, till you catch a revelation that he has already sorted you out financially, maritally, health-wise, etc. Meditate until that revelation becomes so real to you that you find your focus turning from yourself to those who have the same challenges but not the same understanding. Make this declaration by faith Lord I pray that you grant unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, so that the eyes of my understanding being constantly enlightened, I may know more and more what you have called me and which by your grace I have become. That I may also come to know the full extent of what I have inherited by being born again, and the exceeding greatness of your power available to me in Christ Jesus. I ask this in Jesus name.
