INSPIRATION (Giving direction to your day) Saturday 23RD November, 2013 GOD’S THOUGHTS Text: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29:11 As many people that know you, they have different opinion about you. Some will be positive and some will be negative. Most of the time people opinion about you is based on their myopic or shortsighted perspective of you. The closest people to you might be people who have the worst opinion about you. Most of thetime, human opinion is based on what they have always know about you. There are people who will keep judging you based on the mistake you made in the past. It’s possible that some can’t even reconcile your name with certain levels of testimonies. They may be surprised if they hear of your sudden breakthrough. God’s opinion or thought is quite different. His opinion about us is not really based on who we are but on who Christ is to us. Christ’s credibility is credited to our account. God’s opinion is not based on where we are but based on what we could become. God calls those things that benot as though they are. God’s thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future. God sees you as the best. He sees possibilities all around you. He sees you in strength and not in weakness. He sees you in the righteousness of Christ and not in a state of sin. He sees you as perfect for your roles in life. God sees in you what men don’t seen. When men say you are good for nothing, God says you are good for everything. When men say you are ugly, God says you are beautifully and wonderfully made. This is is the way God is thinking about you. Can you also beging to think that way. CONFESSION: I am who God says I am. His thoughts towards me are powerful and good.
