INTERCESSION WITH KINGDOM CONNECT TODAY (TUESDAY 25 June 2013) Key scripture for this week: Ezra 9:5-6 There comes a time where we reap the fruits of our labour and if the people have sown evil that they shall reap. The bible has declared that the wages of sin is death, that is the judgement of sin-though our Father who is in heaven made this judgement He is still merciful. We can look around and lament over the fact that we are perishing or that another is perishing, but there is a better way...we can go to God and reason with Him. God loves us so much that He gives us a chance to plead our case. He also allows for others to stand in the gap for us as an hedge so that we may not die in our sin. There are only two people to care for, yourself and your neighbor. Make right your way with God and when you are done pray for the deliverance of your neighbor too. It is always best to seek corporate deliverance so that we may encourage one another in the Lord. Take time to look within you and around you, do you think what you see pleases the Lord? If you realise that God is not pleased take it upon yourself to make things acceptable to the Lord, Ezra rend his clothes, prayed and fasted. Do your part also intercede for your city, intercede for your church, intercede for your nation. Seek the Lord’s mercies. There is only so much you can do...just do it-lives depend on it!
