INTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT Youth Leadership Franchise and Outlets groundBREAKER Joe Morolong Municipal Area • loveLife is looking to recruit young people to enter a one year youth leadership development programme, whilst acting as community activists, mobilising youth and engaging peers in loveLife programmes to effect HIV prevention. The successful applicant will be required to fulfil the following primary functions in a youth driven and professional manner:Implement loveLife’s programmes and events, with 12 to 19 year old youth at the hub and surrounding schools in the community. • Map services in the community for youth and refer them to relevant services when or if required. • Mobilise schools and learners to be part of loveLife programmes and activities at the hub and in their community. • Recruit, train, support and coach a volunteer corp. of volunteers known as mpintshis. • Coordinate and support loveLife events in the community. • Maintain relationships with the hub Staff, local community organisations and other youth groups in the community. • Administer monitoring for loveLife’s programme implementation in schools, at the hub and at the loveLife events. • Committed to personal development and growth. Suitable candidates will need to satisfy all the following requirements: • Must have worked for at least four (4) months as a loveLife mpintshi • Must submit a Letter of motivation (if not a former or current mpintshi) • Must have a Grade 12/Matric National Certificate • Facilitation and presentation skills • English and local language fluency • Excellent verbal communication skills, Good reading and writing skills • Ability to interact at all levels, Strong Community & youth development background • Self-confidence, pro-activeness, with attention to detail • Prepared to be away from home for extended periods and attend all loveLife trainings • Display ability to role model to peers and lead a team of implementers • Work closely with the hub, regional and community teams • Willingness to learn and have a positive attitude Monthly stipend, Training and uniforms will be provided Please forward your Application form, with attachments and a summarised copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV) to one of the following Centres close to you: [1]Bokamoso Youth Centre.
