How did 12:30 come about? ☞ Yong Junhyung : There was a day where I was sitting in the living room and I suddenly looked at the clock on the wall. But the clock was broken and the minute hand was at the same spot going tick, tick. At that moment, it came to me. I thought it would be interesting to compare the hour hand and minute hand to lovers. Q. How long does it take you to write a song? ☞ Yong Junhyung : Truthfully, writing a song doesn’t take more than a couple of days. However, the conception of an idea takes a long time. I started during ‘Good Luck’ promotions and for about a month I thought about it and then got to work on it. The title song was decided on faster than expected so the remaining songs were easier. Q. What were the members’ reactions? ☞ Yong Junhyung : I remember magnae Dongwoonie’s reaction the most. As soon as Dongwoonie heard it, he said “Hyung, I’m getting goosebumps.” Honestly, the members are not the type of friends who would unconditionally like my songs just because I made them. However, the reaction for this song was good. I feel proud. Q. Did the other members participate a lot in this album? ☞ Yong Junhyung : I made the songs but all the members contributed to it. When they listen to the songs I create, they will tell me the parts that are lacking. After that, I will work and correct those portions. Q. Is there anything you hope for this promotion period? ☞ Yong Junhyung : Although an award for a singer is great, I want to receive an award (meant) for a producer. There’s no one among idols who has received that. I’ll work harder moving forward and I hope to receive the producer award.
