[INTROVERT TEST] Since February 2012, three words have guided my actions and scored most of my results: TEST AND MEASURE. A while back, I saw this infographic about How to interact with the introverted: themetapicture/how-to-interact-with-the-introverted/ Being an introvert, I decided to test and measure whether this is true. Last night, I spent 2 hours meeting and talking to new people, and it did make me feel exhausted. Today, I finished work and decided to try and spend some quality me time - or what the infographic calls recharge energy. I went to a movie (Snowpiercer) and minimized contact with other people. After the movie, I had a spontaneous idea to see another one (Thor), but I decided to stay to the plan. Its true: spending time alone as an introvert does recharge my energy. Moral of the story: there are times you need to be around people, and there are times you need to be alone. The important thing is to enjoy both and BE PRESENT when they occur.
