IRANDAM ULAGAM - Thanks to Selvaraghavan for taking a movie entirely in a studio with a few computers and handing a hefty production cost to the financier of Irandam Ulagam by touring some exotic locations in Europe. The movie has been in the making for more than a year because nobody knew what they were making. Apart from some exceptionally well done special effects (Im saying that the whole 150 minutes is such), there is nothing remarkable or pulsating in Irandam Ulagam. As long as Indian Cinema attempts something out of the usual but keeps clinging onto the same Love subject in future, disasters like Irandam Ulagam are not going to be avoided. People calling this movie as something ahead of its time must explain in which time will a movie like this will ever kindle the brain to think out of the set boundaries. Watch this in the year 2100 and you will still thup for wasting your time on such a movie with gross and annoying screenplay. Anushka is the only consolation. Arya looks frightening due to clumsy makeup. Selvaraghavan handles psychological movies pretty well but this one is made like a psycho and there is nothing logical. This movie has absolutely no beginning, travel or end. Its as bad as someone promising to to prepare and serve wine, but untimately ending up serving Sundakanji from the pot!!! :( ;)
