IRS Scam Phone Calls on the Rise: As more incidents of aggressive telephone scams continue throughout the country, the IRS unveiled a new YouTube video with a renewed warning to taxpayers not to be fooled by imposters posing as tax agency representatives. In a News Release, the IRS reminds taxpayers of actions that scammers often do but the IRS will not do, such as calling to demand immediate payment and asking for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.
