#ISIS threatened to behead my friend & former colleague Peter Kassig. My thoughts for him & his family. Peter worked as a medic in Tropoli, Lebanon, then moved to Turkey and formed his NGO SERA to boost medical relief in northern #Syria. He was abducted by extremists near Al-Raqqa while travelling to Dayr Al-Zor to deliver medical aid. It takes a miracle to save Peter now. I just wish I can wake up tomorrow to a miracle. The risks he took and the sacrifices he gave for the Syrian cause will not go in vein, and extremists will pay very dearly for the crimes they are committing.
