ISLAM CALLS FOR ENJOYING LIFE Sheikh “Muhammad Abduh”(1849-1905) the grand Egyptian & most Islamic countries official edict/Mufti in his time wrote that the health & life in Islam is prior & comes first to religion .The Islam forgiving commands take the human to ALLAH & fills his heart with ALLAH love, but does not take him from making up his life earnings & enjoying life pleasures . The prophet did not say “ sell what you own & follow me” but when asked about sadakah (optional charity amount) , he said “ the third is enough & the third is much , leave money to your pedigree & leave them rich not needy to others” . 1) ISLAM HAS GRANTED US PERMISSIONS & WAIVERS , for example ALLAH has enacted Ramadan fastening , but waived the fastening for the sick & traveler & those who find much hardship in it , ALLAH has enacted water ablution before prayer but waived ablution if there was a harm of water contacting or it was difficult to get water, also praying in Islam is performed by movements of standing & kneeling but the movement is waived if the prayer finds difficulty in it . 2) ISLAM ALLOWED & CALLED FOR ENJOYING & RELISHING all kinds of life adorments & goods & pleasures conditional to moderation & good intention & maintain the legal limits , see Q5;87 ﺎَﻳ ﺎَﻬُّﻳَﺃ َﻦﻳِﺬَّﻟﺍ ﺍﻮُﻨَﻣﺁ ﺎَﻟ ﺍﻮُﻣِّﺮَﺤُﺗ ِﺕﺎَﺒِّﻴَﻃ ﺎَﻣ َّﻞَﺣَﺃ ْﻢُﻜَﻟ ُﻪـَّﻠﻟﺍ translation “O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you--- Q7;32 َﻡَّﺮَﺣ ْﻦَﻣ ْﻞُﻗ َﺔَﻨﻳِﺯ ِﻪـَّﻠﻟﺍ َﺝَﺮْﺧَﺃ ﻲِﺘَّﻟﺍ ِﻩِﺩﺎَﺒِﻌِﻟ َﻦِﻣ ِﺕﺎَﺒِّﻴَّﻄﻟﺍَﻭ ِﻕْﺯِّﺮﻟﺍ translation “Say, Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of provision/ livelihood --- . 3) ALLAH has set an economic rule for rational spending Q 17;29 ﺎَﻟَﻭ ْﻞَﻌْﺠَﺗ َﻙَﺪَﻳ ٰﻰَﻟِﺇ ًﺔَﻟﻮُﻠْﻐَﻣ ﺎَﻟَﻭ َﻚِﻘُﻨُﻋ ﺎَﻬْﻄُﺴْﺒَﺗ َّﻞُﻛ ِﻂْﺴَﺒْﻟﺍ ﺎًﻣﻮُﻠَﻣ َﺪُﻌْﻘَﺘَﻓ ﺍًﺭﻮُﺴْﺤَّﻣ translation “And do not make your hand [as] chained to your neck or extend it completely and [thereby] become blamed and insolvent. . 4) Islam forbid us from exaggerating & hyperbole in religion & asks us to enjoy our life QURAN 28;77 ِﻎَﺘْﺑﺍَﻭ ﺎَﻤﻴِﻓ َﻙﺎَﺗﺁ ُﻪـَّﻠﻟﺍ َﺭﺍَّﺪﻟﺍ َﺓَﺮِﺧﺂْﻟﺍ ﺎَﻟَﻭ ۖ َﺲﻨَﺗ َﻦِﻣ َﻚَﺒﻴِﺼَﻧ ﺎَﻴْﻧُّﺪﻟﺍ Translation “And seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and do not forget your share of the world”-- ALLAH told us to supplicate to him asking for good in both life & afterlife 2;201 ﺎَﻨَّﺑَﺭ ﺎَﻨِﺗﺁ ﻲِﻓ ﺎَﻴْﻧُّﺪﻟﺍ ًﺔَﻨَﺴَﺣ ﻲِﻓَﻭ ِﺓَﺮِﺧﺂْﻟﺍ ًﺔَﻨَﺴَﺣ ﺎَﻨِﻗَﻭ ِﺭﺎَّﻨﻟﺍ َﺏﺍَﺬَﻋ Translation “Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.-- ALLAH tells us that he wants the ease for us & asked us to choose the easy path QURAN 2;185 ُﺪﻳِﺮُﻳ ُﻪـَّﻠﻟﺍ ُﻢُﻜِﺑ َﺮْﺴُﻴْﻟﺍ ُﺪﻳِﺮُﻳ ﺎَﻟَﻭ ُﻢُﻜِﺑ َﺮْﺴُﻌْﻟﺍ Translation is “Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship”--- .
