ISLAMABAD - TIENS Group of China is determined to expand its business network in Pakistan to create more employment opportunities and contribute for strengthening the Pakistan’s economy. This was stated by Jinyuan Li, Chairman & President of TIENS Group of China, while addressing business community at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He visited ICCI along with a large delegation of China. He said TIENS Pakistan is one of the 110 registered companies operating in Pakistan. Giving a brief about his organization, he said today TIENS Group has emerged as a multinational conglomerate, boasting of industrial capital, trading capital and financial capital. TIENS businesses cover fields like biotechnology, health management, hotel and tourism industry, educational training, e-commerce, finance investment and real estate, etc. He said reaching over 190 countries, TIENS Group has set up branches in 110 countries & regions including Pakistan and has established strategic alliances with top-rank enterprises from many countries. The diversified products developed by TIENS Group, such as health food, health care appliances, skincare applications and household products, are creating a high quality life for more than 30 million families around the world and have helped them to enjoy health, happiness, beauty and affluence. He said TIENS is determined to expand its businesses in Pakistan, which will create more job opportunities and help in strengthening Pakistan’s economy. In his welcome address, Khalid Chaudhry, Senior Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry appreciated the initiatives of TIENS Pakistan for promoting business and creating jobs in Pakistan. He said it was very encouraging that many Chinese companies are doing successful business in Pakistan and contributing significantly to the development of Pakistan’s economy. He said Pakistani businessmen have pinned lot of hopes on Pak-China economic corridor and we expect that it will create plenty of economic benefits not only for two countries, but to the while region. Khalid Chaudhry said that Pakistan has very talented human resource and TIENS Group should set up its production plants in Pakistan to manufacture its products at affordable costs. He said ICCI in collaboration with COMSATS Institute of Information Technology and FPCCI University is organizing an international workshop on “Doing Business in China” in the first week of November 2013 and hoped that the initiative will further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
