ISLAMS DEADLY ESCHATOLOGY: As most of you know eschatology is about end times. Both Christians and Muslims believe we are now in the end times - however, their eschatology is not only wrong - they are DEADLY! Those of us who are Preterists view the end times as having existed from John the Baptist to August 70 a.d. All Prophecy was fulfilled by the final Last Day in 70 a.d. Various so-called Christian cults are based on the false teaching of End Times and the future return of Christ. Among those cults is 1) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormonism); 2) Seventh Day Adventist; 3) Jehovah Witnesses. Also, all those who believe in a Rapture to come in the future and all Millenialists of various stripes are guilty of false teachings concerning the End Days and the future 2nd coming of Christ. These are all dangerous and at times even DEADLY directly and indirectly - such as David Koreshs version of 7th Day Adventism where he and his followers believed they were in the end times and perished in the fire (including innocent children). Other deadly consequences among Christians futurism is a misguided and false world view. Many of these futurists pray for and do all they can to bring about the destruction of the world. Islam has a deadly eschatology that they promote by terrorism to bring about the conquest of the whole world and the death of all those who will not submit and become Muslims. It is important for everybody to know and understand their view and determination to bring it about. They believe Jesus will come back and destroy the cross and Christianity and lead the world to accept Islam and Mohammad as the Last Prophet. The staging for this this is in SYRIA.They see Syria and Iraq as the focal point for their war of world conquest and march to Israel to destroy it and then on to all other countries of the world. Some Christian futurists believe that what is happening in Syria today is pointing to the future fulfillment of Isaiah 17:1, however, that prophecy was fulfilled in 732 b.c. when Tiglath-Pileser III of Assyria attacked and destroyed Damascus - it is not a yet future event. By not studying and understanding Bible Prophecy and the end times - eschatology many Christians are being deceived right along with the Muslims. By not seeing the end times as having been fulfilled in 70 a.d. there will be many people killed (and they already are). YES, ESCHATOLOGY IS AN ESSENTIAL SUBJECT FOR US ALL - NOT STUDYING AND KNOWING THIS SUBJECT HAS DEADLY CONSEQUENCES.
