ISLAND: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC EMPLOYER: WARTSILA FUNCTION: CONTRACT MANAGER (LTSA AGREEMENTS) Position description Accountabilities: -Customers relationship -Contracts lifetime profitability. Preparation, administration and control of the lifetime forecast, annual budget and estimate, actual reporting, being responsible for the profit and loss of the O&M or M contract and asset management -Annual plant operations and maintenance plans -Plants performance indices (KPIs Financial performance indices) -Human asset maintenance and development -Customers satisfaction Responsibilities Main responsibilities: -Manage contract operations and maintenance for assigned contract(s) -Manage assigned O&M or M contract in accordance with WOM standards & processes and general management practices in a safe and cost effective way in order to exceed the customer expectations. Implementing preventive and corrective action as necessary. -Develop contacts with the customers, being responsible for maintaining a respectful and productive relationship -Develop and maintain contacts with the local network company management and itâ™s support functions -Responsible for preparation and execution of lifetime contract forecast, annual operating plans, budgets and asset management plans -Optimise , assets such as inventories, receivables, fixed assets etc. tied to the contract -Evaluate operations, maintenance, and financial data; define plans for improvement in financial performance, make recommendations for capital expenditures to improve plant performance, enforce conformance to safety procedures, policies and procedures -Develop and maintain relations with government agencies and local authorities, related to the administration of the O&M contract -Administration and training of a skilled and motivated team of employees to assure good teamwork. Development of the human talent -Implement the OpExS program according to the assigned plan -Prepare and/or review reports as specified by the contract and WOM procedures. Recommend changes in plant operating procedures Interaction: -Customers and its representative -Government agencies and local authorities -Relevant Wärtsilä offices and personnel Requirements Must have experience with Power Plant Operations/ Maintenance Fluent English language At least 3 years of experience in the Operation in similar job. At least 3 years of experience in the Operation in similar job. Experience with Microsoft windows server, Windows XP and Office.
