ISO possible advise from any Plumbers out there if theyre willing to share... no heat or hot water. Cant get ah old of property manager for condo. Black box hanging off water heater making loud, constant annoying noise. Wire with what looks like a temp nodule on its end, hanging out of hole on back side of box. Does said temp nodule go in pipe on side of water heater, where box would normally set on, like in pic of neighboring tenants water heater? Looks like someone knocked box off my water heater and wondering if I just put it back would be the simple fix it needs. Otherwise, Im not touching it and will wait it out for the PM.
