ISP DISTRICT 19 TRAFFIC CRASH ALERT The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by Illinois State Police District 19: WHAT: Personal Injury Traffic Crash WHERE: Hamilton County – County Road 2200N, east of County Road 200E WHEN: 06/30/13 at approximately 7:45 a.m. VEHICLES: 1995 Chevrolet Corsica DRIVERS: Jamie Lynn Logan, age 33, of Hardy, Arkansas PRELIMINARY: According to the preliminary traffic crash investigation, the driver of the 1995 Chevrolet Corsica, Jamie Lynn Logan, was traveling eastbound on Hamilton County Road 2200N, east of Hamilton County Road 200E, when two deer ran onto the roadway in front of her vehicle. In an attempt to avoid hitting the deer, Logan lost control of her vehicle and left the south side of the roadway, struck a ditch embankment, overturned, and came to rest in the upright position. Logan was transported by the Wayne City Ambulance Service to Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, for treatment of her injuries. A passenger in Logan’s vehicle, a twelve year old juvenile, was also transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by the Wayne City Ambulance Service for injuries sustained in the traffic crash. The vehicle was removed from the crash scene by J & R Towing of McLeansboro, Illinois. ISP District 19 was assisted at the crash scene by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, the Wayne City Ambulance Service, and the Wayne City Rural Fire Department. CHARGES: Logan was cited for Driving with a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
