IT ALL BEGINS WITH AN IDEA-ENTREPRENEURSHIP (PART 1) There is a reason why the Chinese people have a saying, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” All that you do in life begins with an idea. Ideas are what helps us to make perfect decisions on everything that we want to do as individuals and organisations. Let me posse a question? what idea do you have that can help you become an independent person? what skills do you have that can help you become a successful entrepreneur? I know that the school of knowledge in your brain might have just popped up and you where now wondering what is it that you posses that can actually be the answer to the questions above. Let me shock you with something, it doesn’t have to take you to be a graduate to be a successful entrepreneur. The creator in his creation gave us all talents that we can use to the benefit of each and everyone of us and on top of it he decided to put ideas in our brains so that we can use each and every single idea to the benefit of the people that are around us. Imagine how many people have become successful entrepreneurs with just a single idea? I know that ideas pin your brain spin across all trades, its like you are a Jack of all trades but what you just do not have is the direction to develop that idea you have. As an entrepreneur there certain things you need to know that will help you and your idea bud into something big and wonderful. First thing you need to know is that do let your idea start on debt. what do i mean? simple don’t borrow from others to start a business but rather ask for investment from as many people as possible to help your idea. Borrowing for your capital makes you have more liabilities in your small firm than assets. I know its all confusing but you can still get it. Borrowing doesn’t give you peace but if you have people investing in your business you will be able to have more several ideas come on board and that helps you sustain your individual idea. But one can still ask a question how do I get people to invest in my business? simple, write up a business plan and also consult an accountant or someone qualified in that field to draw up a financial plan for you. A well written business plan shows your idea and how your idea falls into perspective. I know a lot of people will tell you that financial plans are just a sheer waste of time but yeah let them say that. A financial plan is what helps your ideas fall into perspective and it helps you stay focused. your financial plan i can liken to a tourist who frequently uses the MAP to get his direction, without it definitely they would get lost. so have that financial plan written. Another important thing you need to have on the tip of your hands is time. Time is very important and you need to be discipline when it comes to time.
