IT ENDED IN PRAISES This is the summary of the recently concluded LOST SEASON 7 by MCF Zone D (Ondo/Ekiti) in a jungle near Iwaraja in Osun State. We couldnt take off early enough from Ado on Friday as scheduled, because of the late arrival of the concerned delegates. We are supposed to reach Ibadan before 10pm for MCF Western Sector vigil. It was smooth and steady, until the bus started developing faults. We thought it would be a minor issue until the vehicle fininally broke down in a city near Iwaraja. Though we trecked into the nearby village to source for Mechanic; all efforts were futile. It was already dark. We knew no one in the village to spend the night with (though we were unaware of a Methodist Church in that village). We couldnt move the vehicle from the point of incidence. So we all decided to spend the night in the Bus - right there in the jungle (about eighteen of us). Our brethren in the vigil did not seize from calling us to know the state of things. And also, our father, The Rt Rev. Osundina, the bishop of Ayedun Diocese, who expressed his concern by calling us at random intervals. The following morning, we trecked into the village again looking for Mechanic. The Mechanic started working on it at about 8am. We were hoping it wouldnt take too long before itll be fixed. At about 12pm when it was made known to us by the Mechanic that we cant go with the vehicle, we started asking the villagers about any Methodist Church arround. That was how we got to know of a Methodist Church in the village. We went there, but we didnt meet the minister in charge. It was his caring wife that directed us to Methodist Church Awomolo. I and 6 other people had to treck down to Methodist Church Halelluyah Catheral Awomolo, Ilesha. A treck that took us about 30minute. Ough! We didnt meet the Presbyter, it was his wife that attended to us. We were highly edified by the treatment we received from her. We were in the Church for about an hour plus, singing and drummingwhen the Presbyter arrived. He took us to Otapete Methodist Church in Ilesha to look for an alternative bus to convey us back to our destinations. Because, non of his residential busses are available. He then decided to single handedly pay for our transportations when he couldnt get any alternative... CHAPTERS IN SCENE 1. MCF AAUA 2. MCF FEDPOLAD MC 3. MCF FUTA 4. MCF HT Ijero 5.
