IT IS NEVER JUST ABOUT THE FOOD ON YOUR PLATE. 1. Yes, I talk a lot about detox and digestion. Learning what foods were the right foods was key for my own autoimmune. 2. The ah-ha moment happened when I realized healthy foods such as almonds, quinoa + most grains and beans were not right for my unique body {note- if you have digestive distress or thyroid issues - make sure you soak - beans, nuts and grains for 6-24 hours with 1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar then rinse 6 times and consume or cook). 3. The next ah-ha moment came when I realized that no matter how much green juice, spirulina, healthy meals or chia seeds I would eat - I would remain sick and tired if I did not get comfortable in my own skin. 4. I had to tap into a deeper place - where the negative throughts existed that kept me in emergency mode. Emergency mode leads to a LEAKY gut - every time you stress - I stress - WE kill 100 good bacteria in out gut. Amazing, right? So get comfy + get healthy. xoxo - rachelswellness
