IT IS TIME to select our next Partner Family Do you, or someone you know, meet the following criteria to become a Habitat for Humanity homeowner? • Live or work in Jackson County • Have a housing need (currently in unsafe, unhealthy, or overcrowded situation, homeless, etc.) • Have income that will allow you to make a monthly house payment between $350 and $450 a month (income includes wages, Social Security, TANF, child support) • A willingness to work, not only on your own home, but also on homes being built for others If you answered yes to all of these questions, you may be qualified to be a Habitat for Humanity homeowner. To apply, attend one of the following applicant orientation meetings and start on your application. Tuesday, October 21 Habitat ReStore 6:00 p.m. 661 S. Elm St., Commerce near Lanier Tech and the Health Dept. Thursday, October 23 The Church at Southside 6:00 p.m. 100 Crooked Creek Rd., Athens Off of Hwy 129, behind Citgo Saturday, October 25 Commerce Community Church 10:00 a.m. 310 B. Wilson Rd., Commerce just off of Hwy. 98 near Commerce Hardware Sunday, October 26 Paradise AME Church 2:30 p.m. 431 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Jefferson Sunday, October 26 Living Word Church 6:00 p.m. 267 Mahaffey St., Jefferson near the Jefferson Police Dept.
