IT WAS EXACTLY TWO YEARS AGO THIS MORNING that Andrew Pomerantz and I started driving back to Pennsylvania from Arizona! It was about 9:45 in the morning that I slowly departed Cape Cod Apartments at 910 South Gary Drive in Tempe driving a fully packed and loaded 17-foot long U-Haul moving truck towing an Auto Transport trailer with a 1994 Lincoln Town Car on it all the way to North Philly. After we departed our old apartment complex, we proceeded to the gas station at the corner of University and McClintock in Tempe to fill up the moving truck with gas and for Andy to fill up his Hyundai that he would drive all the way to Philly, following right behind me every mile of the way. After we got gas we would go across the street to enjoy our last breakfast in Tempe at Sunnys Diner. We then got back into our repective vehicles, got onto Route 202W in Tempe and followed the GPS to the High Country of Arizona! It was exciting high adventure on the road! In a while we would make it across the border into New Mexico where I drove that moving truck and trailer for miles and miles. I drove until I couldnt drive anymore. We would spend the night at Americas Best Value Inn in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Tomorrow, Thursday, November 8, 2012, would be a day filled with driving many long miles, reaching Oklahoma before we would have to sleep again!
