ITS MOVING DAY!!! *throws confetti* Today, some of the FCS crew are helping us move The Soap Box to a much bigger warehouse! Like, three times the current size. .< Heres hoping we get to stay here for a bit. I like it here. :D WE NEED MORE SPACE AT THE STORE! To give us more room at the store, were also moving soapmaking to the warehouse too and using that space as a dual shipping area. Weve got two shipping stations all ready to hit the ground running as soon as soap is gone. Whos ready for a faster TAT!! me! me! We are experiencing some massive growing pains right now and I want you all to know that we are working as hard and fast on our end to speed everything up across the board. Here are a few things were doing/changing... CYO EVENTS!! We love doing CYO events -- but when we do, it takes over the entire store for 7-10 days, and everything else has to stop, which is why CYO Body Wash got bumped. Its not an option to do that anymore sooooooo, all CYO is moving to the warehouse as well. We are setting up a CYO station there and training a team to work the events. With this in place, each event should go off without a hitch and not get cancelled. :D TWO SHIPPING STATIONS! Im pretty sure I hear angels singing when I say that. This is going to be life changing here at FCS Land. SPLITTING SHIFTS! We did this last year during the Christmas season and it got us through the holidays. To say the fall launch was epic is an understatement. We currently have almost as many open orders in our system as we did from black friday last year. That slightly terrifies me. Once everything gets moved and set up, were going to be adding a full second shift to speed things up NOW and help us prep for the upcoming Christmas season. HIRING! HIRING! HIRING! We are hiring and training like crazy! I always worry when I know someone is going to put in their two weeks notice at their current job. I worry that we wont be able to keep them busy...I worry that theyre going to hate it or us...just a few things that keep me up at night. >.< MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT! (be still my beating heart) I just placed an order for some much needed bigger equipment. We need to start making significantly larger batches of everything - this will help! We also ordered a little filling machine, Im not sure what to expect with it, but at least we can get our feet wet with the little guy and go from there. MORE CS HELP! We are adding another cs girl, at the warehouse, that will be answering all the phones and emails and chatting live during business hours. And if that this isnt enough, well keep adding and moving and tweaking until it is! We love you all and thank you for hanging in there with us through it all!!
