ITS NOT NICE TO CONFUSE 1 NATIONALITY WITH ANOTHER! You will hurt feallings on both sides. Wow! I have not decided yet if I should feel angry or feel sorry cause they are bloody ignorant... First of all, Romania is not a poor country and most important, they are NOT talking about ROMANIANS! (they think they do)...really sad...Oh, and by the way, homeless people are in every country! 2. The fact that they have ROMANIAN ID CARD, doesnt make them ROMANIAN...They are just GYPSIES...ROMANIAN GYPSIES... They represent a different nationality...a different ethnic group if you want. 3. When two parallel lines will meet/intersect, at that point ROMANIANS WILL HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH GYPSIES (romanian gypsies) .....culture,customs,way of leaving and so on ...or the other way around (there might be some exceptions). 4. I really hate that Romania was (advised) obligated to give ROMANIAN ID CARDS/CITIZENSHIP to the GYPSIES/ROMANI if they want to be in NATO, EU and so on. It was not an act of racism or discrimination, but if someone doesnt care about integration in a society, then they dont deserv an id card or passport. Its even more sad and frustrating when, after you say to people that you are romanian, you get to that awkward moment:...oh, but you dont look like a romanian!.....for them romanians have black hair and dark skin (and Im not talking about having a tan)... Thats the moment when you realise that they have no damn clue about what they are talking. I am so tired of this confusion! CONCLUSION: TRY WIKIPEDIA FOR A CHANGE!
