IUSTITIA ET PAX DIOCESAN JUSTICE AND PEACE COMMISSION Casa de São Domingos,Vila Verde,Dili,Timor-Leste,Phone:3312466 The Justice and Peace Commission (JPC) diocese of Dili in cooperation with the German NGO AGEH offers the following national position: Job Title: Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Duration: June 2014 - May 2017 Location: Dili, Timor-Leste with sporadic travels to district AGEH is the personnel agency of the German Catholics. Since 2003 we support church based and other local organizations in Timor Leste in their work for justice and peace. In the frame of the Civil Peace Service funded by the German government we provide experienced German professionals which work during a contract period of three years as volunteers together with local colleagues. We are looking for a Timorese professional who will support the AGEH partner organizations in developing of their programs through planning, monitoring and evaluation (PME) processes. The national PME officer will work with 50% of his/her time with the JPC Program “Better future for our children” and 50 % for other AGEH partners together with the country program coordinator. The successful applicant will learn and practice ROMA (Result Oriented Project Management) as a special methodology used for strengthening the professional implementation of our peace and development projects. Objectives of the position · The six AGEH partner organisations use ROMA for learning and reporting which is based on their observation and assessment of results. · With the help of the PME officer the JPC children program is effective and has a positive impact on the life of the participating children.
