The Bathroom Sessions - Ep 1 - Being Alive featuring The Cold Tap In this low-budget, low-quality, but high-talent YouTube Series, Australian musical theatre and cabaret performer Queenie van de Zandt explores the natural acoustic relationship between bathroom and voice - singing some of her favourite songs, a capella, with nothing but a smart tile to enhance the sound. Because Queenie is lazy and cant be bothered dressing up and slapping on some pancake to record these sessions - each episode will also feature a different aspect of her bathroom. In this pilot episode Queenie sings Stephen Sondheims Being Alive, which she sang the night before at the 2014 Twisted Broadway Concert, which raised money for Oz ShowBiz Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This weeks visuals feature the cold tap on the sink. Enjoy! PS.
