Iain McIntyre will be helping 3CRs Planet X crew (3cr.org.au/planetx) https://facebook/pages/Planet-X/289291574442707 out with their May Day special, which will be going to air on Thursday, May 1st from 11.30pm. The theme will be Stalinist Singers and Other Left-wingers and will cover the best of the worst of leftist protest music- songs that are memorable and enjoyable either because they are utterly atrocious, sickeningly twee, ultra-cheesy or unintentionally funny. He has a shortlist (see below) already, but is keen for further suggestions. Bands and/or songs - Red Shadow - Red Peril- Give Fraser The Razor - Marxman - Redskins - Lone Wolf Circles - Nick Toczek - Between Women - Culture Dick - Lennon and Oko- Something off Sometime in NYC - Marcus Hook Roll Band- Red Revolution - Oi Polloi- Whale Song - Fire- Mama The title of the show comes from a tape which was originally compiled in the 1990s and sold very few copies of through various anarcho bookstores and Choozy mailorder. Can remember most of what was on it, but not all and no longer have a copy so if anyone does... can they send a scan of the track listing?
