Ibrahim Famau Omar Hashim, you can continue with your vitriol but i would like to tell you just a few facts here: 1) The people who came by tractors (as you say) are today no longer poor but have improved their livelihoods and that of the county at large. 2) They have made Lamu County to be among the top ten food secure counties in Kenya, the only county in the Coast Region to be in that bracket. 3) They are all over government, local and international NGOs all over the place. 4) One of them represents you in the National Parliament. 5) They are working almost every sector of the county goverment. 6) They run the fastest growing urban centres in the county. So if you looked down upon them when they came (as many of you did) today is testimony that no situation is permanent and FYI they have bigger plans than what they have achieved as their children are now in the top universities both locally and internationally so give them another ten years and theyll be sweeping the county under the carpet in literally every sphere. Wewe kaa Uingereza na maneno yako machafu but as you yap around the people you call geezers and all other unsavoury words arent listening to your bullshit but working to better their lives and those of their children. I know one of the reasons the situation in Lamu is the way it is, is because some of the lunats woke up one morning and realized that so much had changed and that now the only way is to create instability in order to disrupt their livelihoods. You are extremely wrong as the settler community pray to a Living God and He alone will protect them. Very soon youll return back from England to be employed by a son of the people who came by tractors. Now show us what is in between your ears coz there is not much substance; call us anything else you have ever wished.
