Icelands economy was more invested in the banking industry than any other country & they suffered most of all. However, instead of caving in to too big to fail bullshit, they corrected the problem by punishing the criminals who caused this global problem (bankers & their political puppets) with prison, significant fines & asset seizer, & deportation. They bit the bullet for a few tough years & now their new economy is booming. 5 yrs. after giving the people who created this depression even more money & power, the U. S. economy is still wrecked in the ditch for all but the mega-rich power-elite ruling class(1%) the common folk(98%) have it even worse that they were when W. wrecked us. Barry has proven himself to be as corrupt and at least as inept as W. Barry makes even tricky Dick Nixon look good in comparison. The bankers were greatly rewarded in Amerika, & we still suffer for it.
