A letter to the greatest person I’ve never met I remember the time I’ve been watching your would tour 1992 day in and day out over and over and over again almost 20 years ago. never missing a step, always singing along. Those special times just kept going on in the back of my mind. You kept me glued to your aura, two inches from the TV-screen while subliminally teaching me the greatest lessons of my life. In fact, you shaped what I value today, when you told me to heal the world and make it a better place. Your quest for equality, hope, love, happiness and peace has inspired me and many millions of people around the world to make a difference. In order to fight the good fight you used the greatest weapon imaginable. Your music brought people together. Moreover, you thought me that „it doesn’t matter if you ar black or white. I’m not gonna spend ma life being a colour“. You made me feel – invincible. I want to thank you, because although you could never have a carefree childhood yourself, you enriched mine like no one else. At the same time I feel sad for my future children inasmuch as they will probably never experience the same incredible feelings I had whenever I saw you perform and I still feel today whenever I hear your voice. My dearest wish is that one day my children will look at me the same way I looked up to you. You are the only person I ever was and always will be a fan of.
