Id almost be willing to bet that my wife lived during the Great - TopicsExpress

Id almost be willing to bet that my wife lived during the Great Depression during a former life. She is on of those people who refuses to throw away anything, thinking she will find a use for it one day. Most of the rubber bands in the house have lost their elasticity due to age. She saves everything, even the flat plastic clips that come with a loaf of bread. Whenever I clean and throw things away, she is right behind me retrieving things from the trash. And paper! She wont throw paper away. Doesnt matter what it is. Envelopes, junk mail, whatever. She makes notes on the paper, and then can never find the note amongst the clutter. Her filing cabinets are her jewelry boxes, and the paper has banished her jewelry to be scattered on top of the dresser. Another favorite filing spot is beneath the mattress, and I have developed an appreciation for geology just from observing the years and years of wood pulp strata forming beneath me. I cant call her a hoarder because none of this is really visible, but I pity the unsuspecting fool who ever opens one of our closets.
