Id just like to remind my friends about the excellent music blog: theguardian/music/series/101-weirdest-records-on-spotify and in order to help I have created a Spotify playlist of all the featured albums (the blog started with individual tracks, but pretty soon moved to full albums) so you can browse or play on shuffle (Im a fan of a curated shuffle). Actually, they are not all strange or weird, although some undoubtedly are, and challenging! But there are also albums with strange back stories, and some that are just beautiful meditations. Last weekend with Sean we played Peter Michael Hamels Bardo through the big speakers, it placed us in front of a huge thunderous concert organ, taking me back to the concert he preceding weekend at Huddersfield Town Hall where I was doing exactly that.
