Id like one person who today has said that even if Corbetts attempt to link pension reform to the citys cigarette tax is wrong, we still need pension reform to explain to me what this reform Corbett wants is and why we need it. There seems to be a disconnect in the pundit class, both professional and among FB posters. Yes, there is a long term pension funding problem. But no, it is not all clear that what Corbett wants, actually will help resolve that problem. And if you think it does help, perhaps you could explain how. Simply calling some proposal reform does not make it so.
