Id like to believe in natural selection even in our modern society. Not to sound elitist since I honestly think that my gene-pool would barely survive enough generations to be too detrimental if I ever have descendants. I mean, it gives me some small amount of hope to think that all the ordeals will either break us or make us. Those that cannot adapt to change, grow, mature, /evolve/ will [hopefully] better than the previous ones. There might be dead ends here and there, however, the wide selection would allow for a myriad of results which might be polished further by the obstacles and opportunities that are presented. What is misfortune for one may be fortunate for another. Opportunity is the ruin to some, and catastrophe is the balancing force that might behoove others. Is life a zero-sum game, or is there synergy to it allwiththeroghtcombinations and fortuitous circumstances when factors align?
