Id like to have a thoughtful discussion about something that is - TopicsExpress

Id like to have a thoughtful discussion about something that is important to me and, I believe, essential to the success of any organization. That is, that we have agreement on the principles around which the organization is founded -- in essence, our constitution -- that upon which we do not waiver. My assumption upon joining the local Chesterfield Libertarian Party is that it upholds and honors the (national) Libertarian Party platform. Although, I voted for Ross Perot back in the 80s, I only recently decided to officially join the LP and give up trying to change the Republican Party from within when I read the LP party platform. I have never read anything that more perfectly embodies my beliefs. I am in 100% agreement with every word and sentence in the platform, which has given me new hope that we can turn this country around. If you havent already, please read the platform. It is an amazing document that should go down in history with the same reverence as the US Constitution. So, my first question is, do you support the LP platform and agree to vigorously uphold and defend it?
