Id like to share another story about myself. About 4 years ago i experienced something that changed my outlook on life and to b thankful for my ability to walk. I got bit by a brown recluse spider and i have a total of 7 scars from the bites. Where i was bitten i tried to take care of it on my own but it wasnt going anywhere. When i was doing wat i could i had a lil hole in my leg and it was literally about 1 centimeter deep. One of the bites that was on my right knee made my knee swell up about 5X its regular size. It got so bad to where i culd barely even walk. Later on i learned that the poison eats the flesh from the inside out. When i read and learned more about it i read that if someone is ever bit by this spider it should get amputated. I started crying and thinking about everything i love doing such as playing basketball, dancing at powwows, sitting in NAC, playing w/ my nieces nd nephews nd so much more. Later on i told my mom that i need to take care of this asap. She asked me if i wanted to go to the hospital and i told her no i want to go into a meeting. We found out there was a meeting that weekend. So I went in and i went Im limping and i couldnt put to much pressure on my right leg. Later on that night i prayed about it and i let it out. Drank the morning water and within about 4 hours i was bending my knee. By morning time i was sitting on my knees and when we came out the next morning i was walking straight and not limping. That showed me not to take my walking ability for granted. I jus wanted to share this story because walking can get taken away jus like that. This also showed me that there is a creator and that if you trust him and put your faith in him he will love you. It was than i realized how much he loves me. I also got 2 mile run in today and today was arm day for me ;) Thanks for taking time to read more about my story. Have a nice day HANs :)
