Id like to share some amazing news with anyone who is interested in this topic. My father has severe Alzheimers Disease. He was diagnosed 9 years ago, but the signs had already been there several years before that. He lost the ability to walk just under a year ago, and we were forced, at that point, due to the combination of his inability to walk and chronic double incontinence, to put him into a nursing home. Time passed, and his condition deteriorated more and more. He has been unable to recognise or communicate with anyone, other than by means of monosyllabic gibberish for the last three months. My mother, however, has never given up on him. 10 days ago, she purchased a book called Memory Healer off the internet. It claims to be able to achieve massive improvement in Alzheimers patients within 21 days. I was, needless to say, extremely skeptical. The basic idea of the book is that a certain neurotoxic chemical causes the massive brain degeneration in Alzheimers Disease, and that certain foods, given in specific quantities and combinations, combine to create an antidote;. I am absolutely amazed to say that it seems to be working. My father now speaks again, reasonably coherently, recognises us, even some of the nurses, and shows interest in everything that is going on around him at the nursing home. The nurses are absolutely gobsmacked, and report daily to my mum about the changes they are seeing in him. I am sharing this information because I am sure that some of you who have loved ones who suffer from this horrible disease, and I just want you to know that there may indeed be hope for recovery!
