Id like to take a minute to thank Wally Macchiarella, Bill Arney, Rob Wesley, Dwayne Tate, and all the other instructors from this past firefighter I/II academy for district 1. You all put in a lot of time and effort to teach me, and my class the basics of how to be firefighters. But you also taught us that, no matter who we are or where we come from, we are all brothers and sisters in this profession and we can always count on one another to make it through situations that may, to anyone else, seem difficult or hopeless. I am proud to call you all brothers, and I hope we dont let you down. Officially passed fire I/II, and on to bigger and better things. To all of you who were in class, I am proud to know you, and call you family in this crazy job. Thank you.
