Id like to thank everyone for all their support and notes of congratulations and the thousands of dollars weve all raised for Camp Trillium! I believe it is well over $150,000 now for this swim alone!! You have no idea how good it makes me feel! It was a tough decision to stop at Long Point, but I made the right one. No excuses at all, but I sure dont have much luck with the weather on my Great Lakes ;) ! I thank the 100s of volunteers who gave so much of their time to spend Friday, day and night, at the beach to support me!! That is so amazing! I thank the incredible Duane Rutter and his offer to play his guitar that crazy amount of time!! I hope we get to work together again :)!! To all the musicians who came and helped Duane, you guys are incredible for giving your time!! To all my partners and sponsors...wow could I make a list of all you have done!! However, if I do that this statement will go on forever!! I thank you all for everything you have provided and your belief in me and I hope I represented you all well!!! To the hundreds of people in Norfolk who came and welcomed me home at the pier in Port Dover!!! Oh my goodness that was crazy that you all got up that early to cheer me! Thank you so much for being there for me!! Finally to my land and on water crews!!! These 50+ people are the core of the Ripple Effect and started the One Drop, Many Ripples!! You helped me promote Camp Trillium and raise funds for this incredible haven!! You organized an event that will humble me forever!! You kept me safe on the lake and helped me to achieve my goal to swim across another lake as a way to help Camp Trillium!! YOU are ALL MY HEROES!!
