Id like to think that Im not overly sensitive, in the typical PC manner, even when it applies to our ideals of freedom here at Cold Dead Hands. But something like this just saddens me as an ugly but fitting example of what our society, especially the media and entertainment business, has become. Our most sacred political document made into a garish faux-tattoo on a naked womans back, with an inane error added in from another almost as important document, the Declaration of Independence. It should not surprise us that the Constitution has so little respect in this country these days, the government ignores almost all of the Bill of Rights. Maybe they are so consumed with their banal vapidity that this is the only way any of them would even think about reading it. It took some 40 years for Rolling Stone to put KISS on their cover, which is a silly affront compared to things like this, and this is the same magazine that put one of the Boston terrorists on its cover made to look like a glamorous celebrity.
