Id really like to see Lincoln churches prairie their lawnscapes. Seems like they should be leading the way to healing creation and fostering connection to all life. Every time I drive by a church in town I get all flustered and think how wasteful those thin strips of artificially green lawn are -- then I see a daycare or school attached and think what are we teaching these kids? That living on a planet created by a divine being for us is completely foreign or other to our existence? Where is god, anyway, and how do we get to know her / him / it in as many ways as we can? Prairie up.
