These days, British’s governor & ambassador was killed and his daughter, Mary Winchester was captive by the Mizos legends and fighters. Therefore, British army came to invade Mizos in three groups from south, west, east to Mizoram. c) Declaration of Independent: Mizo National Army under the leadership of Pu Ch.Chhunga, Laldenga, Zoramthanga, Lalthanhawla and so on…. were under the support and guidance, some army were trained and refugeed at Pakistan, China, Burma, Middle east, and so on. During the freedom fighting days, there was no group collation and splited among the army. They were just fighting in one morally, physically, and so on for the Mizoram people around the world. a) Unity: MNA (Mizo National Army) had a strong commitment for the freedom of people of Mizos. They were united and supported, cooperated each other among them. No army did not have any separatism feelings and thought from his or her friend but just for fight for the people. b) Between people & army: we should say that MNA were good & kind enough towards the native people. They did not make / created any prople & difficulty for the people of Mizoram. Army were always concerned for freedom and liberation from the army of India, & native people also always helped and supported to the MNA physically, morally, financially, spiritually, etc. they were support each other in fighting of independent. c) Full surrender and fighting for the people: Now by the grace of God, & MNA our forefathers contributions and hardship and giving their lives for the freedom of the people of Mizos, we are proud to say that our land is most peaceful and most Christians inhabited state in India.
