Identity Sought - Assault - Police are seeking to identify a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries into an assault on a man on Tuesday, 16 September 2014. About 6:30 pm, a 30 year old man caught the number 354 Transperth bus from Mirrabooka heading to the Roe Street bus port in Perth. A short time into the journey an unknown man got on the bus from a bus stop on Nollamara Avenue (near the IGA) in Nollamara and sat across from the 30 year old man. During the journey the unknown man made verbal threats against the man. Both men got off the bus at the William Street bridge/train station stop in Perth. As the victim approached the intersection of William and Wellington Streets, the man grabbed him and pinned him against the wall. The man continued making verbal threats to the victim before releasing him and walking off. The victim was not injured but shocked by the threats from an unknown person. The man is described as being in his mid-forties, fair skinned, approximately 183 cms tall with a medium build and clean shaven. He was wearing a white t-shirt with grey or black writing on it, trousers, a baseball cap and was carrying a backpack.
