If AU has no carbon price, then the airlines will have to pay it - TopicsExpress

If AU has no carbon price, then the airlines will have to pay it to the EU, England and others as a penalty--according to their laws. So the airlines will have to pay a carbon tax for international flights, but with the repeal of the carbon tax here (if it happens) then the money will flow overseas as the tax gets paid to foreign governments in the form a penalty. Watch as the benefits of a lower AU dollar end up getting sucked as carbon taxes from other countries start getting applied against our exports because AU doesnt have one.--just like the LNP doesnt have a cogent plan.
